Wise Alec (alec) $24.95 Ages 8 - adult 2 or more
players We all remember the fun of playing Trivial Pursuit. Wise
Alec uses a similar format geared to knowledge garnered in the classroom/living.
After determining the criteria for winning the game (3 options),
players take turns answering questions (History, Science, or Spelling)
determined by the color of board square they land on. Each card
is worth 3 or 7 points (determined before question is asked) and
Wise Alec cards have points printed on the card. Players keep track

number (not by where the pawn is on the board) wins. Wise Alec is
a multi-generational, family party game of trivia, tongue twisters,
and sassy social strategy. The game has a variety of brainteaser

Storm (2916) $29.95 Ages 8 and up
2 - 8 players What is neat about this game is everyone plays at
the same time. It is a tile-grabbing, crossword-style race game
that is fun for all. Players build words vertically and horizontally,
using letters drawn from the pile - and can rearrange letters at
any time. There are many clever twists to the game - including "word
storm" tiles. First player to correctly complete a crossword, wins.
As three of us played it this past weekend, I was pleased that it
felt as if you were competing against yourself, versus the other
players. Truly a thought provoking game..
